High Voltage Software, Inc., one of the world's largest independent developers, today officially revealed the Hollywood voice-over cast of their exciting first-person action shooter, "The Conduit". Mark A. Sheppard stars as the voice of the main character, Mr. Ford. <> William Morgan Sheppard puts his incredible voice to the character of John Adams. <> Last and definitely not least is Kevin Sorbo, who stars as the voice of the terrorist Prometheus. "It looks like a riot," said Sorbo, "I'm looking forward to it." (14.10.08

<> "The Conduit" puts you in control of Michael Ford, a former Secret Service agent working to fight off and alien race invading the earth called the Drudge. You're working for what seems like a semi-shady group of characters known as the Trust, a kind of Illuminati-style group. An NPC <a non-player character> known as Prometheus (voiced by Kevin Sorbo) provides some in-game chatter and information about the unfolding conflict. Of course, not all is at it seems. As usual gamers, you are just a man trying to make a living with alien bugs on one side and megalomaniacal groups with hidden agendas and murky ideologies. (09.02.09 The Feed,
Kevin Sorbo commented on how his voice was a little raspy lately from all the voice over work he has been doing for Nintendo games "Conduit" and "God of War". (27.03.09 Armageddon Expo, report by Stripe)
The story focuses mainly on a freak alien invasion of Washington D.C., where portal-like devices known as "Conduits" are used to deploy their forces throughout a battle-ravaged city. Simple sci-fi fare, but as they say, the devil is in the details. Suspicions arise as to the involvement of the U.S. government. Armed with sci-fi gadgets and high-powered weapons, players will battle aliens, rouge agents and enemy forces as a former secret service agent codenamed "Mr. Ford." <...> One of the primary antagonists is a man calling himself Prometheus (voiced by Hercules himself, Kevin Sorbo), a former member of the Trust who left the organization for unknown reasons and later fell in league with the Drudge.
