Educating Dharma 1 (ep. 4.13/84)

writers: Susan Beavers & Don Foster -- director: Chuck Lorre

Dharma was subbing for a student, taking notes, and handsome professor stirs some feelings that could disrupt her marriage.

Dharma is taking notes in a college history class for her sick friend. Thanks to her Dad-hippy, she has some interesting ideas about American history. When she shares her knowledge with attractive professor, she discovers the shortcomings of the home-school education. Very naturally to such character she hopes to get the real story on U.S. history by attending a college course taught by Charlie Sumner. But there is some official obstacles as she didn't even finish high school - so she needs extra help. Talking about her education they both start feeling things... And come to an agreement that he will take lessons of yoga in exchange for teaching her. [It's more than funny to observe ex-Hercules groaning and making a wry face after training!]

During the studies she finds out that her instructor with winning smile is going through a messy divorce. Further complications arise when Dharma offers to pose as Charlie's girlfriend to make his ex-wife jealous at a college party. She decides to portray a foreigner, using Canadian accent. [Nice little in-joke! Jenna is married to Bodhi Elfman, co-starring in the series 'Freedom' in Vancouver. And Kevin's 'Andromeda' - guess you know - has been shooting in that Canadian town too.] Dharma plays her part, telling a romantic invention for the couple to anyone who'll listen. Everything goes well until the ex appeares with her dean and Dharma intended that woman to realize high value of the husband. She tries one simple trick with false kiss. [Was she imprudent or what? History is silent on that point.] But they get a little too caught up in their performance and wind up in an intense lip-lock, the intensity of which catches them both off-guard.

Educating Dharma 2 (ep. 4.14/85)

writers: Don Foster & Jenna Bruce, Susan Beavers -- director: J.D.Lobue

Dharma failed in all her attempts to persuade herself in being only "good friends" with Charlie and definitely bid farewell to him.

Trying to catch up the situation, Dharma takes Charlie to introduce him to Greg. But that was wrong time as her husband due to his job (to be correct - due to his young client) was placed under arrest for some hours & when home he does not need any newcomers. Next day Dharma shows up in Charlie's flat to speak about 'What happened yesterday'. And this attempt comes down again! Charlie is not going to forget the kiss or to take it in the capacity of joke. Dharma confronts her feelings for the alluring professor and turns to her parents for advice on how to handle the knotty problem. Larry and Abby finds the answer to her dilemma in a menage a trois. Dharma can't use their advice and after nice dream with trio in the bed she decides to stay the loyal wife. [It was emotional shock to see how heartlessly cold she was with Charlie... Poor wretch went away so upset, pained and lonely.]

The End of the Innocence 1 (ep. 4.23/94)

writer: (sorry, no info) -- director: Ted Lange

Charlie came back into Dharma's life and caused problems for her and Greg (not intentionally, of course).

Charlie had written a love letter to Dharma and she kept it. When Greg finds it, he gets very chagrined about it and the couple needs to seek counseling with a kooky couples counselor to help repair the rift. Dharma refuses to avoid her other man, but Greg insists she mustn't contact with Charlie anymore. Since Dharma is attending the college where professor teaches, seeing him is unavoidable. Once Charlie finds Dharma sitting in the rain for a bus and gives her a ride. Greg sees them and moves out of the home.

The End of the Innocence 2 (ep. 4.24/95)

writers: Don Foster & Sid Youngers, Chuck Lorre & Bill Prady -- director: Joel Murray

The impending wedding of the friends compels Greg to reevaluate his own marriage - and Dharma's lies about Charlie.

After catching Dharma innocently hanging out with her old college tutor - and failed suitor - Charlie, an enraged Greg moves out. When Charlie calls Dharma, she tells him what Greg has done and he goes to Greg's office, where tells him that if Greg broke her heart, then he would be first in line to put it back together. [That is the only seen that Kevin is in.] Greg must face his wife because they both are in their friends' upcoming wedding. Dharma and Greg did reconcile, but not before getting involved in a auto accident.
