TV-series (CBS), 1995-..., episode 1.11 "The Last Temptation of Cybill"
10.04.95 on the air -- Director: Robert Berlinger - Screenwriters: Elaine Aronsohn & Lee Aronsohn (story by Mike Langworthy & Michael Dempsey)
"Cybill and Ira's second chance faces a Herculean challenge when handsome young actor Rick takes his love-scene very seriously." |
During the rehearsal with young and attractive co-star Rick (Kevin Sorbo), Cybill (Cybill Shepherd) becomes engaged with the thing, when her handsome colleague tells her he thinks he's in love with her. So then Cybill, who just started dating her ex-husband Ira again, completely forgets the planned dinner-party with him. The last has possibility to observe Rick and her with the test of a kiss scene and gets jealous - not without reason, as 'the fruit of another' is sweet to the taste. After a stormy discussion with Ira Cybill passes up the role… and Rick, only to be re-cast by Zsa Zsa Gabor (Zsa Zsa Gabor playing herself - Date of Birth: 1916). |
Great thanks to Anne from "Sorbo Dreams" for all Rick' screencaps
Kevin Sorbo: "I played
a small part in 'Cybill', in which I was Zsa Zsa Gabor's sex slave."

"Now we know why Sorbo makes so much sense playing a superhuman half-god for the '90s: He survived a bedroom scene with Zsa Zsa Gabor. And you thought the mythic hero stuff was tough. See what kinds of torment actor have to suffer in a guest shot on 'Cybill'? Sorbo's appearance on the sitcom - as a Cybill Shepherd co-star who falls for all his leading ladies (even if, like Zsa Zsa, they're old enough to have starred in the original '50s Hercules movies) - simply confirmed for other viewers what the fast-growing audience of his H:TLJ already knew. Sorbo isn't only large, built, cute and warmly charismatic. He's also got a cheery, casual sense of humor." (11.05.95 Newsday) |
Q: You guested
on "Cybill" with Zsa Zsa Gabor. Did Zsa Zsa make a pass? (31.08.97 Chicago Sun-Times) |
"Kevin looks incredible in this episode and I mean hubba-hubba…"
